Invest $20 and have an opportunity to win $20 each Friday of the year and help St. Edward’s at the same time.

Here is how it works:

250 tickets will be sold. Each ticket has four numbers from 001 through (1)000.
For example: one ticket has 002, 252, 502, 752, another ticket has 005, 255, 505, 755.

Each Friday, the closing number for the Dow Jones Industrial Index will be used to identify the winning number. For example: if on Friday the Dows Jones Industrial Index closes at 14,342.52 the person holding the winning number 252 will receive a $20 check in the mail. If the winning number is unsold, the prize remains with the parish.

how the finances work: 250 tickets at $20 = $5,000
$20 prize each Friday x 50 Fridays in 2010   = $1,000
proceeds to the parish                                $4,000

All proceeds from this fundraiser assist St. Edward Church with its support of the school & general operating expenses.
