Outreach Opportunities
The Bereavement Committee's mission is to serve the needs of parishioners who experience the death of a loved one.
When the parish office receives word of the death of a parishioner and after a contact person for the family is identified, if desired, a member of the Bereavement Committee will contact her/him.
They offer the following services to parishioners:
- assistance with preparing the Mass of Christian Burial or Memorial Mass
- provide food preparation.
- provide house sitting
- provide home care for children, the elderly, and the handicapped.
- provide assistance with reception, serving and cleaning up.
PLEASE allow the Committee members to assist you with the details surrounding the visitation, funeral, burial and reception. There is no charge for these services. They are provided by parishioners for parishioners to assist you at this difficult time.

Communion to the Homebound We wish to reach out to those who are homebound on in nursing care by providing pastoral care in the form of visits and Communion calls.
The pastor ordinarily visits homebound parishioners on First Friday. He is available to hear Confessions and celebrate the Anointing of the Sick at that time. Our extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion regularly distribute Holy Communion to the homebound and to those residing in nursing facility.
Please remember hospitals and nursing facilities do not automatically call the parish office when you or someone in your family is hospitalized, placed in a nursing facility or becomes homebound.
