Hello from Preschool!

First of all, let me start off by saying, "Hello!"

I sincerely apologize for not blogging sooner. Every time I have tried to blog, something or someone has needed me and it never got finished...so right now, while I have a few minutes, I figured I would let everyone know what's going on in preschool this year.

We currently have 32 students enrolled at St. Edward Preschool.  We do have a few spots still available for this school year so if you know of anyone interested in having their preschooler attend school, please let them know about us!

We are having a fabulous year! We are having so much fun learning all kinds of new stuff! One big thing that the children are really enjoying this year is our wonderful playground...especially the swings! Oh what fun! I know a lot of hard work went into getting our playground just right, so I want to say 'thank you' to everyone that had a hand in getting our playground up and running! The children LOVE it! Ms. Melissa and I LOVE it!

We are enjoying different weekly themes. Our current theme is "Turkeys" and "Letter K". Can you believe it is already time for Thanksgiving?! Where has the school year gone?! Next week our theme will be "Thanksgiving." Also next Wednesday, grandparents can come and eat lunch with their grandchildren at 12:00 p.m. If grandparents are not available, a "grandfriend" can step in for that day. We have already celebrated Grandparents Day in our class, but since the rest of the school celebrates their Grandparents Day the day before Thanksgiving, I figured it wouldn't hurt for our grandparents to join us again!

We will be closed next Thursday (26th) and Friday (27th) for Thanksgiving. I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday! Be careful shopping Friday. It will be a mess...and I'll be in it! :)

Have a fabulous day!

Kim :)
