Dear St. Edward Parents,
What a fun weekend! Many thanks to those who participated in this past weekend’s events, there is much more planned for the week as Catholic School’s Week continues!
Students may be out of dress code on Thursday this week and Friday students are asked to wear red for National Heart Day. Students may only be out of dress code on Friday if they wear red.
Friday is a special celebration as students have reached the 1,000 Accelerated Point goal! This point total earns students a Snappy Pizza lunch and an afternoon movie! Congratulations to all St. Edward students.
Thursday, February 2nd is the annual “Parent Appreciation Dinner.” Teachers will be serving dinner beginning at 6 o’clock in Brinker Hall. We have received a tremendous response from school and pre-school parents! Yea! We promise a delicious meal, spaghetti, tossed salad, bread, dessert, iced tea or lemonade. Come hungry and remember there is no cost!
Sunday, February 5th will be the bowling party at Galactic Alley from 1:00 – 3:00 in the afternoon. The entire bowling alley will be open only to St. Edward School. Shoe rental for students will be at no cost. This has always been lots of fun for everyone! See you there!
St. Edward School’s Alumni Association sponsors the activities held during Catholic School’s Week. Thanks to Dan Furnish and all association members once again, for their outstanding support of Catholic education.
The third quarter mid-term grading period ends Friday, February 3rd. Reports will be sent home on Monday, February 13th.
We are asking for volunteers to help with this year’s St. Valentine’s Day party. The festivities will take place from 1:00 – 2:30 P.M. If you have some time, your assistance will be greatly appreciated. Please send a note in your child’s agenda, the information will be forwarded to the office.
Please do not hesitate to contact us at any time if you questions or concerns. Have a safe work week.
Sincerely,
