Food Bank Donations: The Food Bank request for July is canned fruit. Thank you for your generosity and support of our local food bank.
No Adoration on Fridays starting June 5th.
-Adopt-a-Classroom Initiative: Thanks to those who have chosen to Adopt-a-Classroom. There’s still time to sponsor a classroom individually, as a family, or in memory of a loved one. Most importantly, our students will pray for their classroom sponsors during their weekly intentions. Call or stop by the school office for more information.
Events
Attention CCD parents: early registration for next fall’s CCD program is now open. To encourage you to register early, Father Joe has approved a discounted fee of $75 for those who enroll before August 1. After August 1, the registration fee will return to last year’s rate of $90. Please take advantage of this discount by enrolling your child now. Applications and fees may be submitted at the church office Tuesday through Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. For more information, please contact Adriana Haas (ahaas@stedwardky.org).
Bishop John C. Iffert will celebrate Vespers at Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, Covington, to honor couples celebrating significant Wedding Anniversaries in 2026. Married couples celebrating their 1st, 25th, 50th, or 60+ Wedding Anniversary in 2026 are invited to a vespers celebration on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Anniversary couples RSVP by Aug. 13, 2026, at covdio.org/wedding-vespers/. Phone registrations are available after Aug. 6 through Isaak Abraham Isaak at 859-392-1529. Reservations are only required for anniversary couples; family members and guests are welcome to attend. Congratulatory certificates will be available upon request.
