SCHOOL NEWS 
We’re so excited about the start of the 2026-2067 year. Here are a few dates to keep in
mind while packing your backpacks:

-Thursday, August 6th, 5-7 p.m.—OPEN HOUSE FOR STUDENTS & FAMILY.

-Monday, August 10th, OPENING DAY OF SCHOOL FOR ST. EDWARD STUDENTS.

-PARENTS: Monday, August 10th—Wednesday, August 12th will be PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION DAYS.
 
-Adopt-a-Classroom Initiative: Thanks to those who have chosen to Adopt-a-Classroom. There’s still time to sponsor a classroom individually, as a family, or in memory of a loved one. Most importantly, our students will pray for their classroom sponsors during their weekly intentions. Call or stop by the school office for more information.

Married and engaged couples are invited to Date Night with Fr. Nate on Saturday, September 12, presented by the Saint John Leadership Network. Father Nathan Cromly speaks directly to the realities of marriage, offering couples a renewed vision for their relationship and simple, meaningful ways to strengthen it. This is not just a night out, but an opportunity to refocus on what matters most and invest in your life together. The evening includes heavy hors d'oeuvres, beer, wine, soft drinks, and fellowship with couples from throughout the Diocese of Covington. Last year's event sold out! Bishop John C. Iffert will celebrate Vespers at Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, Covington, to honor couples celebrating significant Wedding Anniversaries in 2026. Married couples celebrating their 1st, 25th, 50th, or 60+ Wedding Anniversary in 2026 are invited to a vespers celebration on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Anniversary couples RSVP by Aug. 13, 2026, at covdio.org/wedding-vespers/. Phone registrations are available after Aug. 6 through Isaak Abraham Isaak at 859-392-1529. Reservations are only required for anniversary couples; family members and guests are welcome to attend. Congratulatory certificates will be available upon request.
