Fr Niby Welcome

Welcome to our St Edward website! Thank you so much for visiting the website of Saint Edward Catholic Church and School. St. Edward’s, a parish of the Diocese of Covington, is located in Cynthiana, KY. The City of Cynthiana is the seat of Harrison County; a place with a long history and an exciting future! Saint Edward’s has a rich traditional role in this community, with many parishioners whose families have been members for generations; as well as a significant number of families who have recently come from other communities.

Ours is a parish where growth in faith and service for Our Lord Jesus Christ is encouraged and fostered through worship, catechesis, devotion to the Sacraments, and volunteerism in a variety of facets. In accord with the teachings of the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church, we seek to prepare our people as witnesses for Our Savior Jesus Christ wherever they may be. As an outreach of our parish, Saint Edward Elementary School provides a quality Christian education for all children of Harrison County and beyond from pre-school through the 5th grade. CLICK HERE to vist the school website for more information.

Information for participating in or joining our parish life is provided on our website. If you are interested in joining our parish, look on the home page for the link to "New Here" in the Discover section. To check for upcoming parish events, look in the Discover section on the home page for the Events link. You can find resources to help with your spiritual life under "Catholic Resources" near the bottom of the home page. If by chance you have been away from the Church, or are searching for a parish home, please come and visit! We welcome visitors with open arms. I believe you will find St. Edward’s to be exactly the Church you have been looking and waiting for.
